In the begining God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1
This is the foundation of truth. The first man and woman Adam and Eve were created perfectly in a perfect world. Then sin came into this world in the form of a serpent (Satan)  who tempted Adam's wife Eve to eat forbidden fruit and she gave it to her husband Adam and he ate it with her. Then the perfect relationship between God and man in a perfect world was destroyed, bringing us into the imperfect, violent and sinful world that we live in today.  God required animal sacrifices to provide temporary forgiveness of sins and to foreshadow the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's only son (Leviticus 4:35, 5:10). God still loves this earth and still loves the humans He created. He wanted to restore that relationship between Himself and man,  and so he sent His son Jesus Christ to be a the perfect sacrifice for our sins. We no longer need animal sacrifice or a priest to reach God. All we need is to repent of our sins and ask Jesus to be Lord of our lives and to believe in our hearts that He died for our sins and God raised him from the dead and you can be saved from Hell and death. If we stop and think about all He is offering us, Eternal Life with Him in heaven, salvation from hell, and peace beyond measure in this life and true happiness, what is there to lose?
 We can come to God anytime. He is there for us with His arms wide open!  My Friend, please consider the consequences of not accepting this free gift of Love and Salvation.
